I smiled at the beautiful horse. I thought for a moment and then said, "Well I won't know what to name her until tomorrow comes."
I yawned again my eyes getting heavy. I shook it away and watched the horse and Lestat. "Will he hurt me if I try to touch him?" I asked
I grinned to her, knowing she was needing to sleep now, and jumped directly on the horse. The horse turned on itself a few time, but I calmed him with the mind gift. "Calm, Faust." I said softly to him. I gave my hand to Tay. "Come behind me." I said softly. "We will go back home on his back."
I gave Lestat my hand and he pulled me onto the horse's back. I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head against his back. "Beautiful name for the horse." I said to him.
I smiled and said, "What does it mean?"
I couldn't help it and then I fell asleep my head upon his back and the gentle riding of the horse putting me to sleep.
I smiled softly as I felt her fall asleep on my back, keeping the horse on walking, even if he wasn't really loving it. He was prefering to run, but if he was running, I was scared that she might fall down.
"Good Faust..." I said softly to him, petting him on the head.
In no time, we reached the house, and I took her in my arms before jumping down and giving back liberty to my horse.
I opened the door with one of my hands, lighted no candles as I made my way to the deep basement. Somehow, I was feeling more safe to sleep there then on the room upstairs.
Once in the basement, there was one wide coffin. "Tay..." I whispered. "Wake up, mon amour..."
Very groggily I opened my eyes and smiled up at my baby. "Yes love?" I asked sleepily my eyes wanting to close again.
"I will go in the coffin... Just stay up the time I do so, then come beside of me. Or on top of me, as you want."
I smiled and kissed her forehead as I put her back on her feet and slowly moved the cover of the coffin, slipping into it after.
I did as he said. I waited for him to get into it and when he did I slipped inside and snuggled right next to him. My head was resting on his chest. I could hear his heart beat. "Goodnight my darkest prince. I love you and see you in the evening." I said to him and then instantly fell asleep.
"I love you, my princess..." I said softly as I closed the lid of the coffin with the mind gift.
I didn't fell asleep right away. I looked at her. She looked so peaceful in my arms. I kissed her forehead a few times, then closed my eyes and fell asleep.
When I awoke the next evening I sorta freaked. I didn't normally sleep in a confined space. I let out a soft cry of terror. I couldn't get out. Then I realized I was with Lestat. I probably awoke him by freaking. I felt a solitary tear fall from my face. I must have freaked out pretty bad for a tear to fall.
"Lestat...Lestat...I'm scared. Where are we?" I asked.
"It is alright..." I whispered as I slowly opened my eyes and took her in my arms. "I am here. We are on my island, in my coffin. There is no danger, I am here."
With the mind gift, I moved the lid of the coffin and lighted up the candles in the room so it wouldn't be too dark.
"Remember? The baby tigers and the horse are coming to us tonight."
I relaxed against him again just resting for a moment. "I'm sorry. I freaked. That's never happened before. Hey do you think the animals are here?" I asked sitting up rather quickly.
"Do not appologize..." I said softly. "It is normal. Louis was freaking out first, too. First night, he woke up screaming.. Oh, but that, he won't admit." I laughed and kissed her deeply, then pulled away to lick her earlobe.
"They are not here yet. They will be here in around one hour."
