"Ooooh. My precious princess." I smiled and kissed her cheek softly. "You are so charming." I grinned to her and slowly sat up. I felt like I was needing to move, to do something. I wasn't sure why, maybe it was all the blood I had that evening. "I don't know if I would make another fledging. I was telling myself no, but then I made Mona..." I laughed. "But I made her for Quinn, not for me."
"But then does she count as your fledgeling if you made her for Quinn? Okay so there has to be some rules to our life that are in place right? So what are they? The main ones I know of is never kill our kind and do not take of the innocent." I asked him curiously as he sat up.
I sat up on the bed and pushed some hair behind my shoulders. I grinned at him. I was glad I had him to teach me.
I grinned and giggled and tightend my grip on Lestat a little more. He was driving me crazy. I decided to pin him to the bed. I began to tease him by kissing his neck, his earlobe, all the way over to his chest and then up to his lips. "When you're ready to go let me know." I said to him as I twirled ad piece of his hair around my finger.
I moaned slightly as she kissed my earlobe, my neck, my chest, then gave her back her soft kiss. She sure knew how to drive me wild. "I'm always ready, ma chère." I said in a whisper as I looked directly into her eyes. I slowly grinned. "Always ready for some quality time with you."
I smiled softly and kissed her forehead, then wrapped my arms around her, holding her tightly. "You will see..." I whispered. "I want it to be a surprise..."
Slowly, I took the sky. Looking around at the stars, I felt small. It was always something I was feeling in the sky. Like I was so small compared to everything else...
I started making my way out of the city, to a small island. The island was almost impossible to find in a boat, and even worse, there was no place to land. It was my little secret place when I want to be alone. A little piece of paradise into this world. The island was covered in trees, except in the middle, there was a beautiful lake, with water as pure as it could be. And a small house not that far. Really small, made by my own hands, so I could sleep there in the day if I was needing to.
I slowly landed near of the lake and put her on her feet. "Open your eyes now..." I said softly.
I opened my eyes looking directly into his own and smiled. I then turned to look around me. Everything was so pure and beautiful. There were no sounds of cars or people so I figured we were away from civilization. Something that I had wanted forever. To be away from it all for awhile. Like my own vacation. I turned to look at Lestat and I said, "Wow...this place is beautiful. And there is no air pollution, light pollution, or sound pollution. How did you ever find this place?"
I kissed his cheek and then walked a few feet to the water and looked into it. It was so clear and very beautiful. I couldn't wait to get in the water with him.
I smiled, happy to see how delighted and surprised she was. "I bought this island, actually..." I said softly. "I found it flying around without anywhere in particular to go. Now this is mine." I pointed the small house. "No light is coming in, so I can stay there during the day. I have enough candles for days, too. It is my little paradise." I slowly took off my shirt. "Ready for the water, my love?"
I watched in awe as the swan totally trusted him and took the fish from him. "I wonder why they aren't scared of us? Er I mean you." I said to him.
I watched as another swan came to the water. It swam up next to the other swan so I figured they were mates. I swam down and grabbed a fish that was like the one Lestat had given the other. I brought it back up and fed it to the swan. It trusted me the same way the other trusted Lestat. I smiled and felt like I had accomplished something. I moved over to Lestat and kissed his lips. When I broke the kiss I saw the two swans letting their bills touch as if they were kissing too and that was when it looked to me as if their shapes made a heart.
I kissed her back softly and smiled as I also saw the swan kissing, creating a shape of a heart between them. "They feel that we wouldn't hurt them." I said. "They feel that we wouldn't hunt them. And this place is safe for them, as I am usually the only one coming here.. You are the first other person they see here with me."
I smiled widely and turned to look at the swans. "Have fun..." I whispered to them. They stayed near of us, but started swimming around.
"There is another lake on the island." I said softly. "It's attached to the sea, and very deep. Sometimes, you can even see dolphins here. But that doesn't happens often."
I gasped once again and said, "Dolphins? I love dolphins. It has been a dream of mine to see them up close." I grinned and kissed his lips again. "Take me there please?"
"Wow. They are truely beautiful." I said as I reached out to touch the dolphin. She came closer and planted a kiss on my cheek. "Aww she's so sweet. Dolphins are so smart. And they trust you like the other animals did." I said to him. I smiled as another dolphin swam up to us. "This must be her mate." I said to Lestat as if questionning him.
"Mmm. I don't know, but all I know is that little thing coming..." I pointed more far in the water. "Is her baby. Careful with him, don't try to touch him unless he shows you he wants to, or his mother will think you want to hurt him." I laughed softly. "There is no danger if he comes to you by his own will."
I smiled to Tay. "You know what I saw here, once in many, many years? A shark. Scary at first, but.. oddly enough, he didn't attack me. He trusted me." I laughed softly.
I slowly slipped on the water, off of the dolphin. "You are a good girl." I said softly as I dove in the water to find a big fish, one that was coming from the sea, and I came back on the surface to give it to her. "There, my beautiful. Let me feed your baby too."
I went to take two other fishes and came back on the surface of the water, gave one to the male, which was probably the father of the baby, and waited with the other one in my hand. "Come here, baby..." I whispered softly.
I smiled as the baby dolphin came up to us. The dolphin circled me and then went to Lestat when he said for him to come. I grinned. He was great with animals. "Wait...you saw a shark? Holy cow. I bet that must have been scary? Did you get to touch it?" I asked him rather anxiously.
When the baby took the fish, I smiled and said, "He trusts you doesn't he? Seems to me like you'd be good with kids."
I smiled. Lestat really had a way with the animals and I'm sure they were protective over him when he stayed here. "Do they watch the island when you stay here? I mean do you think they know what we are and that we need protection during the day? And I'm sure they watch over the island when you're not here." I said to him.
I smiled again when he mentioned walking in the forest. "Sure. I'd love to walk through the forest with you. There are so many things that I could possibly see." I said happily.
I smiled softly. "Yes, they do. They are protective, and I know the dolphins are trying to push away mortals when they try to come on the island. I am not sure why, maybe they know I love to be alone. But mortals aren't able to come, anyway. How do you want them to climb up there? This is why I love this place." I smiled as I took her in my arms, holding her very tighly, and took the sky to go back where our clothes were.
Putting her back on her feet, I kissed her deeply. "You are such a beauty." I said softly. I walked to my clothes and started putting them back on.
