"Okay how does Quinn fit into the picture then?" I asked him quietly. I didn't want to bring up Nicolas. I didn't want to sadden my angel baby more than what he was already sadden. Of course I wished I could meet Nicolas and Lestat's mother but I knew there was no way. Then I heard the faint roar of an engine. "hey is that the plane the animals are on?" I asked Lestat hoping it was. We both needed cheering up.
"I met Quinn a lot later.. a few years ago, actually. He isn't my fledging. More like a dear friend."
I listened and jumped up quickly. Yes, it was the plane. I could hear the thoughts of the person I was calling everytime I was needing something. "It's them." I said happilly as I ran out, holding her hand.
They were already getting the first box down, huge, probably the horse, and a mortal holding himself to the cable. "Samuel." I said as I opened my arms. "Jump. I'll grab you."
The box was now on the ground and Samuel was untying the cable, then jumped and I made sure he wouldn't hurt himself, grabbing him and putting him back on his feet.
"Hi Lestat." He said, his voice shaking a little. Was he scared of me? No, he was scared of Tay. It was normal, he wasn't knowing her.
I smiled and looked through the holes at the beautiful black Clydesdale with white hair around the paws. "Wow she's a beauty. Hey there Beauté." I said to her calmly. Rather ignoring the guy Lestat was talking too. I was really in awe at how beautiful my horse was. I then looked over at Lestat and smiled taking and holding my hand out to the guy, "Hello there Samuel, my name is Incantatia but everyone calls me Tay. Do not fear me. I'm a big chicken myself." I said softly.
I smiled softly. "I bought the horse for her." I said so Samuel, as he shook Tay's hand shyly.
"G-Good." He said. "Let's get Beauté out of there then." He took back his hand and starting working against the box, obviously having hard times.
"Mmm. Samuel. You forget a little detail here. Back off." I smiled to him as I took his place and totally ripped off one side of the box. He laughed. "Oh, yes. Surnatural strenght. Forgive me."
Another smaller box made its way to us as soon as we got the horse out and pushed the old box away. It was all the effects that would be needed for Beauté, food included.
"I warn you, she is young." Said Samuel. "She might be a little excited and hard to calm down."
I smiled and walked over to Beaute and kissed her on the nose. "Nothing wrong with you is there? You're a big beautiful girl aren't you sweetie." I said to her.
I hit her gently on the bottom to let her take off running to explore the island. "Maybe she'll find Faust and get acquainted with him." I said to Lestat as the horse ran happily.
"So...whats next?" I asked eagerly
I smiled. "We need to get the biger box back up." I said, as Samuel nodded. They could always use them again next time. I grabbed the cable and tied it to the box, watching it go up.
"There is the little tigers." Said Samuel. "I took the liberty of taking a lot of meat and milk for them. All in special contenants, keeping them fresh and cool, because I am quite sure you don't have electricity here."
I laughed. "You guessed well, I don't have it here. Don't really need it. That is perfect.. Let's seem those babies."
I smiled and danced with happiness as the babies came down. I watched paitently as Lestat opened the box and the girl tiger cub bounced out of the box and into my arms. I started laughing as she licked my face like crazy. "Okay Chubbles..It's good to see you too." I said giggling.
Then the boy cub came over and started licking me like crazy. I couldn't help but laugh. "Oh they are so wonderful. Thanks Lestat." I said to him between giggles.
I laughed softly as the little white tigers jumped litterally on her. Another box was coming down, the food and the milk, probably, with another cable. Samuel smiled and untied the box, then tied the cable around him. "Well, until next time, farewell!" He told me, smiling, and the cable took him back into the sky.
"Look at those adorable little things.." I said softly as I bent down by Tay's side, the male quickly making it way to me and licking my hand. I smiled and petted him softly. "Good boy.." I said softly. "Your sister have a name.. You'll need one too."
I grinned and laughed as the boy tiger attacked Lestat in a loving way. "Yeah. What are you going to name him?" I asked.
Then I got to thinking about how we were going to get everything back to the house. "Uh...how are we going to move everything baby?" I asked picking up Chubbles and holding her.
"I am strong." I said. "I'll pick up one of the boxes, and you'll walk, the babies will follow you. I'll come back for the other."
I smiled as the little male really started to attack me, more for playing. Glad I wasn't a mortal, he wasn't even breaking the skin. I laughed. "Soft here, boy..." I told him softly, then said to myself, oh, why not? And started playing around with him.
"What could be your name..." I whispered as I pushed him away softly, only to make him jump back on me. "Oz..." I whispered. "Oh yes. Oz. This is totally you. Do you like it?"
He jumped even more on me, throwing me to the ground and licked my face. "I'll take that as a yes!" I said laughing.
I cracked up laughing as Oz attacked Lestat and licked him crazily. "SOunds wonderful to me and here comes Chubbles." I said to him as she joined her brother on attacking Lestat.
I picked up Chubbles and kissed her and then picked up Oz. "There you go baby. You can get up now." I said to him.
I laughed and slowly got up, walking to the box of things for the tigers and grabbing it. "Let's make our way back home, it's just one minute away. I'll put this in the house, probably in the basement, so it will be more fresh. And I'll grab the things for the horse and put it at the stable."
I started walking toward the house. "Thank you for helping!" I said to Tay, laughing a little.
